A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
& THREE BY SEA...

My choice of creative pursuits, the basis for this website, and my sarcastic sense of humor can all be traced to one personality trait...

I'm not a patient person by nature.

This is not to say I don't possess patience- I'm married, have a two-year-old, and a creative business I'm growing...patience is a necessity. I worked to cultivate that patience, however, because those people and entities matter a great deal to me.

Otherwise, I'm all about banishing the bullshit.

Because, damn it, life should be simple, happy & relaxed!! And no, the irony of that statement is not lost on me. It is but one of many seemingly contradictory statements and situations that define who I am and what Three By Sea represents. When I wrote the Three By Sea Manifesto, I based it on how I want to live my life and the type of work I want to create. Plus, I tend to have strong opinions (and use bad words) at times...

My lack of patience for redundancy, bureaucracy, and excess drive me to simplify as much as possible. Maintaining a sense of humor, pursuing creative outlets and helping others find their happy place provide me the happiness I value. Holding onto stress is an express lane to an early death, so I try to keep things relaxed as much as possible.
