I can’t bring myself to throw away greeting cards, especially ones from my husband and son. For the longest time I just let them collect in a dresser drawer, until I came up with the idea to create books out of them with book rings.
It’s such an easy way to keep your cards together, all nice and tidy. You can organize them chronologically or by occasion.
You can also treat the cards as file folders by adding photos from each occasion as well. Simply hole punch printed photos and insert inside the cards, or if you don’t want to hole punch certain pictures, use the card envelopes as photo holders. Most greeting cards tend to be at least 5″ x 7″, which is a perfect size to hold your 4″x6″ photos, even after you hole punch the envelopes.
Now cards & photos sitting in drawers and boxes can now be put up on a shelf, easily accessible whenever you feel like a trip down memory lane.

This is a super cute idea!! I hope you do not mind, but I will be sharing this idea on my blog. Of course, I will be sighting it as your idea. =)
Thanks, Misty! Glad you loved it, and thanks so much for sending your readers over to check it out! I’ll have more projects in the future, so stay tuned!
Great, cute, easy, clever.
If it wasn’t for Misty, I would not have been directed here. Kudos on this idea,
Kelly
