Happy Monday! Hope everyone’s Easter weekend was a beautiful one. Ours was spent in Cape Coral, FL (near Ft. Myers) and involved an afternoon trip to Sanibel Island & Captiva. Gone is the rickety bridge out to Sanibel, but not the pricey tolls ($6 to cross!)
But the $6 is totally worth it. We went shelling on Lighthouse Beach and had stingrays come within two feet of us- so cool! Then we puttered (speed limit never tops 35 out there) up to Captiva for lunch at The Bubble Room. What a fun place- bright, fun, eclectic and their desserts rock!
Here are a few pictures I took that I suspect will be influencing future designs…
The Bubble Room– how can you not love the bright, fun colors?!
Retro signage/type, cars & bright stripes = LOVE!
I don’t know what those tree/plant things are with the little bushies at the end of branches, but they are my new favorite flora. Anyone have a clue what these are? If so, please leave me a message- thanks!
