Build a Beast
Scrolling through my Google Reader the other day, I read this site’s name as “Grabba BREAST”, which resulted in this moment of, “How did porn end up in my reader?” Turns out that I’m just illiterate.
Grabba BEAST is a fun, little goofy site where you can build yourself a little beast to send in a e-greeting, share on social media sites, or have printed as an 11″ x 17″ poster. Definitely sounds more fun (and less creepy) than building a furry little breast.
Little Man and I created the above beast. I clicked on options for body parts and colors and J. approved or vetoed them until we had something he liked. Then he named him Brue. I’m thinking about ordering the poster for J’s room.
I think this would be fun to create a mascot for your workplace, too. Or maybe everyone could create their own little alter egos. You could turn it into a guessing game to match monsters with creators.
Don’t say it to my face- leave me a note.
Surfin’ the net today brought me to Passive Aggressive Notes. It’s all reader submissions of the little notes left by co-workers, strangers, business owners, neighbors, etc. with plenty to say, just not to your face.
The above note made me burst out laughing. I’m an omnivore, so I’m down with the veggies and the meat, but everything about this scenario struck me as funny.
What about you? Found any funny sites this week to share?
See you tomorrow with this week’s “Found Inspiration In…” post and to share what I came up with for last week’s “Found Inspiration In…Red Onion” post. What did you come up with?
