Last week I read a post by Erin of Unclutterer which asked, “Is uncluttered and remarkable living the best path for you?”
It was one of those head-nodding posts that get you excited because it’s like someone has read your mind. (I highly recommend reading it after you’re done here.) It reflected what I’m striving to accomplish for myself and this blog, based on this theory I have that
SIMPLIFYING LEADS TO MORE CREATING.
When you move towards simplifying by eliminating the unnecessary and minimizing the unpleasant, you give way for creating more of what is significant to you. This can be creating in an artistic sense, but it’s also creating a family life that you enjoy, a home you can relax in, a work environment/career in which you thrive, etc.
So as this blog moves along, I want to continue exploring this simplifying/creating relationship, as well as sharing ways to cultivate creativity and simplify the various areas of life.
Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow with Wednesday’s “Fun” post. (Because sharing laughter and fun significant to me!)
