(The following took place during a diaper change with my two-year-old last week)
J [pointing and tugging]: I have a penis.
Me: Yes, you have a penis.
J [arms stretched wide]: It’s BIG!!

It should be noted that this conversation continues to happen, though thankfully the frequency is finally decreasing. While J is discovering anatomy and hyperbole, I’m gaining insight into just how early the male ego develops.
