Wednesdays are for wading in the Flickr pool to see what’s new. This week I’m sharing some of my own photos. The following are photos I took this week of a plant I discovered a few years ago called a Buddha Belly. It is such a unique looking plant, and when I saw the name, it made me laugh.
The flower clusters are so cool to photograph. Before and after they bloom, they have this coral look to them that I love. I’d love to hear your feedback on the pictures, as it’s been too long since I pulled out my macro lens. What a fun lens to use.
This is a great low maintenance plant that requires little water or attention (my kind of plant!) The only bad thing about this plant is that it is poisonous if ingested, so I’ve had to move it to a place where my little 14-month-old explorer can’t sample it! That’s a trip to the E.R. that I’m not trying to take!
Hope you enjoyed this week’s dip in the Flickr pool. For more of my photos, go to my Flickr account.
