With the weekend still so far away, here are a few goofing off tools to help you get through the work week. There are some strange things out there on the Internet.
This video was posted this past weekend on Soul Pancake, a new favorite site I wrote about last week. I’m not sure everyone will like this video- I’m not even sure how I feel about it. You will be fascinated by the animation and amount of work that went into making this video though. The soundtrack is pretty interesting as well. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this video.
Like bacon? Think you need more of it in your life? Go to Bacolicio.us. By adding “http://bacolicio.us/” to the front of an URL, you can slap a slab of bacon on whatever website you think could use a little meatiness. The example they use on their site is pretty funny. Well, if you have a sense of humor it is. And don’t worry, it’s not a permanent effect on the website. Wouldn’t it be great if real bacon didn’t have any permanent effects? Mmmm…this Midwest girl loves some bacon. As far as the purpose of this site goes, I have no idea what sparked the necessity for this site, but hey, it’s a fun way to kill a few minutes.
Ever looked at a Picasso painting and wondered where he learned anatomy? Perhaps you wish you could create Picasso-like portraits? Mr. Picassohead lets you create faces with the artistic sensibility of Picasso, but the simplicity of a Mr. Potatohead. I admit, mine’s not really pushing the envelope of Cubism, but it was a first attempt! If you make a better one, email it to me at nicole (at) threebysea.com.
So have fun, take a little time to goof off today, and I’ll catch up with you later!
