I’ve been feeling a bit stir crazy lately, so a trip to the shore was in order. Being on the coast and seeing waves and water as far as the eye can see just makes me feel better. Room to stretch out and breathe, if you will. Plus I love taking pictures along the water because I love the natural elements of the coasts, as well as the decay and weathering of manmade elements. Life is a work in progress and the weathering is a record of that, much like the wrinkles forming around my eyes!
These are pictures from today’s trip that I think are going to end up either framed and/or the inspiration for some collage pieces.
A detail from the fence at Frenchy’s of Clearwater Beach.
Coconuts above our heads. I like the symmetry of this photo.
The fish fence at Frenchy’s. Reminds me of my logo that I want to use for my business.
I love these little birds.
The blue sky and the green sea grass just makes me happy.
Another shot of the fish fence. You can see the weathering inside the hole where there’s no paint. Plus, I love the idea of the unknown on the other side of this hole.
So keep your eyes open and be on the lookout in my Etsy shop for some seaside creations!
